How to Start Running for Charities?
Charity runs are a successful fundraising method used to support non-governmental organizations (NGOs) around the world.
Since March 2008, volunteer athletes; runners, swimmers and cyclists have pursued good deeds for projects belonging to more than 100 civil society organizations in the Goodness Pursuit Run Platform developed and managed by Adım Adım, and have mediated the collection of a total of 300 million+ TL in donations from 1 million+ donors.
A pioneer in transparency and accountability, Adım Adım has achieved a first in Turkey in this field with its İPK (PURSUIT OF GOODNESS) PLATFORM – where all donations can be instantly tracked.
A charity run is not just about collecting donations. You also announce to your social circle a cause that warms your heart, that you want to see solved, and that you want to draw attention to. This also means that you take on a kind of ambassadorial role for the NGO you are running for. In short, in addition to donating, you raise awareness and contribute to the solution of the problem.
Donations made during charity run campaigns are transferred directly to the NGO’s official bank/credit card account opened for the relevant project.
36% of the annual individual donations of NGOs supported by volunteer athletes working together with Adım Adım are collected through charity runs.
The number of registered volunteer athletes of Adım Adım has exceeded 110 thousand people as of November 2024!
